Creamy tomato penne with basil

A simple but well-balanced dish that we’ve had before (although not in the lifetime of the challenge) this is very little effort and the simplicity of the ingredients works well for a classic dish. Although not particularly visually appealing, it’s a satisfying meal that’s made perfect by the inclusion of fresh basil. Long live the windowsill herb garden.

Great with freshly cracked black pepper
