Nigella’s small pasta with salami

Another recipe from Nigella’s ‘Off the cuff’ section of her Kitchen book, this is a lovely storecupboard staple that doesn’t take much effort but tastes great and is a little out of the ordinary. It’s fairly versatile, and we substituted conchigliette for the suggested ditalini successfully: it would be great for campfire fodder too.

With a parsley garnish

I’d not owned a Nigella cookbook before this challenge and am heavily indebted to my sister for introducing us: we’ve found a few treasures that we’ll be having again.
