Bacon kebabs with mushroom and leek

From the BBC Good Food collection, this kebab recipe comprises portions of sausage, leek and mushrooms wrapped in bacon and roasted on skewers with wedges of red pepper. I substituted the suggested mushroom rice accompaniment for Spanish rice with tomatoes, red peppers and mushrooms cooked in stock.

Scrummy, and we could probably have a similar creation for lunch on camp next week. Now that we’ve got a camp-stove on loan and a tent sorted, I do need to start thinking about how I’ll keep the blog updated from the fringes of the Gower. And any recipe suggestions for camp cuisine are very welcome!
