Fridge-raider’s pasta

Similar to “dirty rice”, this is a lovely way to use up the contents of your fridge. Sausage is particularly tasty. Smaller pasta shapes are the best for this; I’ve used alphabet pasta here.

A jumble of yum

I’ve only ever managed to find alphabet pasta overseas, and regularly bug friends and acquaintances to bring a packet back from all over the world. Its tiny grain-like size means it cooks much more quickly than regular pasta. Dig in!
