Spicy chicken, bacon and pepper pizza

The base of this meal is a Carrs breadmaker recipe for pizza dough, which we’ve had before, but this time I managed to work the timer on the breadmaker so the dough was ready as we walked in from a day rambling in the Cotswolds: that’s going to come in handy!

Served with a really simple dressed salad

Topping inspiration came from Pizza Express’s Pollo Puttanesca – echoing their chicken, yellow peppers, crispy pancetta and peperonata sauce combination with spicy shredded chicken leftover from the cumin and honey chicken roast, romano pepper, strips of bacon and a mild chili and pepper tomato sauce.
