Indian take-away

It’s a four-hour drive back from Cambridge and we don’t arrive in Cardiff until quite late. We stopped at the Balti Cuisine (which, in my humble opinion, is the best Indian in Cardiff) for take-out.

We had murghi jaipur and lamb rogan josh with pilau rice, as well as poppadoms and a chutney tray. It was absolutely delicious and felt well-earned after a long drive and a busy weekend.

Tomorrow I go back to cooking, and after a three-day break I’m really rather looking forward to it.
