Milton Arms, Cambridge

February 11, 2011

By the time we arrived at our B&B in Cambridge it was dark and we were tired, and we wanted somewhere nearby that served food for not too much dollar. The landlady directed us to the Milton Arms, five minutes away, a Hungry Horse pub which did just that.

The food was standard pub grub – nothing spectacular, but warm, filling and 2 for £8.49. We were more impressed by the drinks, which included Kopparberg Pear and a cheeky white zinfandel. We were also rather impressed to see little televisions embedded in the walls of the booths – perfect for families with small children to use as a distraction.

Tomorrow we plan to venture into town for dinner.
