Jamie Oliver’s pregnant Jools’s pasta
January 8, 2011
I’ve loved every meal I’ve cooked so far from Jamie Oliver’s 30 minutes book and tonight’s is no exception.
It’s quick and simple to put together, and a lot of the ingredients are in my store cupboard anyway. The fennel seeds and oregano give a delightful additional flavour to the pork, and the warmth of the chili, garlic and onion delivers a mild but pleasant heat to the dish. The balsamic and tomato add a vinegary punch that heightens the crisp contrast of the crunchy salad. H is equally complimentary about the result.
Skipped the dessert as had no pastry cases – I’ll definitely be making it next time.
